We found the Stockton table online and it was THE table I found myself comparing to on over a year long search. Nothing local or by other companies online compared in craftsmanship or the “look”. I called and talked with David several times to obtain the perfect customized look. He listened and followed through with the perfect amount of distressing and hand scraping per photos and conversations. I have had my table 3 years now and still love it! It is a heirloom item! No nails -all mortise and tendon construction and handcrafted individually for each customer! I am so glad I did not settle as to this very day I have not seen one to compare to your Stockton table!
I purchased a Stockton farm table from this company a few years ago and couldn’t have been more pleased with the final product. After searching long and hard for something other than overpriced low quality furniture, I found David Louden and worked with him directly. I wanted a farm table but one that would fit in a more contemporary space, more gray tones vs. red tones and more flat than shiny for the tabletop. Although this wasn’t his standard, he was willing to work with me to customize it, and was very generous with his time explaining the process and answering any questions. He even sent me stain samples in advance of finishing my table since I was so picky about the final color. He created exactly the table I wanted. I was also very pleased with the quality and price of the delivery service he used to get my table from Georgia into my dining room. Great company if you are looking for that special piece. I would not hesitate to recommend David Louden.
We found out about David Louden through our friend Michelle who had a beautiful farm table/kitchen island built by David. It just took a few brief phone calls to decide the details of the farm table/kitchen island that we wanted for our newly remodeled kitchen. We just took delivery of our farm table. It turned out far superior and above our expectations. Talking with David on the phone was one thing. But the final product surpassed our vision. We are so gratified that he used his master craftsmanship to give us an amazing piece of furniture. It is the centerpiece of our kitchen! Thank you David so much!
I went on the search for a farm table 2 years ago. I was searching the internet and found Loudens’s website. I save the picture of the Stockton farm table and continued to look for something that could compare to it. There was nothing in any stores or on any website that could match it. We had them build a 96 inch table. It is beyond awesome, beautifully made. We love it so much that I had them build us a dinette table. Then I went on the hunt for a china cabinet. I actually bought one that was suppose to be antiqued and it barely had any antiquing on it and it was over $3500. It took the company 4 months to deliver and I did not like it at all. I sent it back with no charge to me. I called David and gave him the dimensions and it was built for me. We love, love, love it. It is 84 inches tall and 96 inches long. Everyone ask what old barn did it come out of and how old is it. It looks 100 years old. They do fantastic work, keep you updated along the way. David is a super nice guy to work with. I may a few more projects later on for downstairs.
“My wife and I came across the Louden Table around 2011 I think while looking on line at farmhouse tables. After seeing it all others online and at local stores paled in comparison. For no other reason then we knew we would have to have it shipped up from Georgia we hesitated in buying it and kept looking locally. Eventually, in 2012 we decided that we would not be happy with anything else and would be settling.
We called and placed the order with David who kept us up to date about the status of the table and even sent pictures to us of it in progress. When the table came, it surpassed our expectations . Once we got it in the house and in place my wife was literally jumping up-and-down and clapping and smiling and you couldn’t have pried the smile off my face with a crowbar 🙂
We love the table so much and get so many comments on it that we decided to get a Stockton buffet as well in 2016. Once again, David kept us in the loop with the progress of the buffet and pictures. When we received the buffet it instantly became my favorite piece of furniture in my home.
